CMS
Challenge:
The organization was still using a rather antiquated content management system (Teamsite) to publish websites. We needed to create a more modern and cost effective CMS that would work with our method of Atomic Design and the components that we had developed.
Solution:
We designed a more simple, intuitive way to build websites based on using our component library. We interviewed our teammates and considered their needs. We interviewed users and teamsite developers to determine how to streamline this process. We tested these designs with our team.
The result is the design of a system that is visually based and utilized a "drag and drop" user interface. This would prove to greatly improve our organizations ability to quickly publish website pages.
My role as Project lead was:
– Design and concept creation.
– Design of workflows and roles.
– Wireframing, Mockups, flows, use cases, prototyping and specifications.
