Warriors to Lourdes

In partnership with the Archdiocese for Military Services U.S.A., the Knights of Columbus provides the opportunity and means for our non wounded, wounded, ill and injured U.S. warriors to participate in the Warriors to Lourdes pilgrimage for a period of prayer and spiritual guidance. They accompany and support their warriors and their families throughout the course of the pilgrimage which occurs during the annual International Military Pilgrimage in Lourdes, France.

Challenge:
This project needed a total redesign in order more effectively communicate its most worthy mission. The application process was also too convoluted and needed to be redesigned. 

Solution:
We started by meeting with the stakeholders to discuss the "Mission" of the "Warriors to Lourdes" initiative and craft a more compelling story. One way we helped to accomplish this was by creating a video montage that greets the visitor to the site and communicates this mission.  We also redesigned the online application greatly simplifying a complicated sponsorship process.

Responsibilities as UX Lead included:
– Reorganizing the information to tell the Pilgrimage mission in a more compelling fashion.
– Interviewing Stakeholders, and Users.
– Creating wireframes mockups & specifications.
– UX/UI Design and creative direction.
